The Return of Little Price in SKY: Children of the Light (การกลับมาของเจ้าชายน้อย)
I am extremely honored to write this article to inform Mr. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the pilot and the writer of Le Petit Prince, who left the note “If a child comes towards you, if he laughs, if he has golden locks and if he refuses to answer questions, you will surely guess who he is. So be kind! Do not leave me grieving. Write to me quickly to tell me that he has come back”
I must tell you that I had just met him!
Well, I shall use this free space in this article to recount every words we shared, every moments we did, and importanly where was he :)
Chapter One: Hide-and-Seek
Once upon a time there was a little prince who lived on a planet hardly bigger than he was, and who needed a friend…
‘I like your cape, it’s quite beautiful’ young greeting voice from the little prince.
‘There’s something you should see. It’s not far’ he invited me to hold his hand.
I followed him to the top of the hill. We sat down and looked upon stars.
‘Can you hear them?’ Both were silent to listen for a moment.

.
‘Follow me!’ said the little prince until we were enough.
‘Let’s play a game’ said the little prince after we stopped at the overgrown garden.
‘Close your eyes! Count to five’ I followed the order and played hide-and-seek with him.
He was a good hider. Anyway, I was also a good seeker too. So I can found him within one minute.
First seek. He laughed amusingly
‘I’m not that good, am I? Let me try again’
This time, he hid himself better so that I took more than 3 minutes to found him.
Second seek. He still laughed amusingly.
‘Let’s play once more’
The last time was so funny. Even through he went further and camouflaged behind the stone, that stone had a big hole to see through it.
Third seek. He still laughed amusingly like he used to.
‘You are good at this!’ finised the game.
He walked on the rock and said ‘This is a curious kingdom. I wonder if there are grown-ups here? I must keep exploring…’ He flew away with the flock of white birds.
This is how the first time we met…
In the meantime: ‘On days like these, I think fondly back… my friend who explores the skies. The kindness he shared tending to me. And so, I await his return…’ said the Rose on the B-612 planet.
Chapter two: I am lost
All grown-ups were once children…but only few of them remember it.
I accidently met the little prince in the Underground caverns in Hidden forest.
‘I am lost… Do you know a way out?’
My lead. I held his hand and flew to the exit. Beside, we did highed five too.
After that he kindly offered me a piggyback ride.
‘I’m glad that you’re here… Grown-ups forget how to piggy-back’
We stopped at the brink of the hill.
‘Is anyone here?’ shouted he.
‘What a majestic creature!’ exclaimed he.
‘Can this one be tamed?… Do creatures in this cave sing?… I imagined they would sing back to us…’
I led him to higher cave to meet a swarm of butterflies.
He really enjoyed.
‘There are no roses here… Only butterflies… How gracious!… On my planet, we saved two or three caterpillars to become butterflies… I have never seen so many! said he with a exciting feeling.
‘Let’s fly up! We should search the top!
‘Well that was fun! No one is ever satisfied where they are… Only children know what they’re looking for… I have friends to discover, and a great many things to understand…’ The little prince said and again, flew away with the flock of white birds.
In the meantime: ‘I was a seed when my friend found me… For him, I blossomed radiantly… He seeks new planet for now… But will he find another rose like me?’ said the Rose on the B-612 planet as one of her petals dropped to the ground.
Chapter three: To be tamed
One runs the risk of weeping a little, if one lets oneself be tamed.
We met each others at Sanctuary islands in Daylight prairie.
‘What a funny house! It’s bigger than my entire planet… I like that it sings with the wind… See how it’s decorated with bells… Just as the sky is decorated by stars… The bells must be for the creatures… All children know that’
‘Let’s head to that statue’ said the little prince.
‘What are these creatures? Can they be tamed? As a friend for life?’
‘What is that sound? Come with me!’ said he when he heard the explosion sound nearby.
‘This is a volcano! I own three volcanoes, which I clean out every week… Two volcanoes are active and the other is extinct… But one never knows’
‘………………… The sound of waterfall? Let’s look for it!’
‘Do you hear? the waterfall is singing… Water may also be good for the heart…’
‘Let’s keep exploring! Where does this lead to? Woah!! that was fun!’
‘I’ve never seen so much water on any planet I have visited! I wish I could see what lies beyond the horizon…’
Can you take me to the peak of this island? Let’s go to the peak!’
Yes I did. I gave him a piggyback ride. Ughh…
We flew up to the top.
‘Do you know… What it means to be tamed? A fox told me it means to establish ties’
‘Among all the millions of children… To me, you will be unique in all the world… To you, I shall be unique in all the world…’ heart-warning goodbye today by the little prince and flew away again like he used to.
In the meantime: ‘I was ready for tigers with my fantastic thorns… But my friend grew careless… As I wavered in the wind… Will he look back and remember me? ’ wondered the Rose on the B-612 planet as her petals dropped to the ground more.
Chapter four: His rose
The stars are beautiful because of a flower you don’t see…
That day, I met the little prince at the Overgrown garden in Starlight desert.
He waved to me.
‘Something curious stirs over there… These flowers are short of air!’
We helped those by burning amount of plants crawling around them.
‘There are good seeds and bad seeds… Bad seeds like baobabs can become a disaster if not tendered early… If it is a radish or a rose, one would let it grow where it might wish’
‘These flowers remind me of my rose afar… Flowers are tender… Sometimes you need to shelter them from the wind… I listened to my rose when she grumbled, or boasted… Or even somtimes when she said nothing’
‘The time you spend watering your rose… is why they become so important
After we finished cleaning, the time for those roses had come. They bloomed widespread on the ground and even on the pillars.
‘These roses are beautiful… But they are empty… My rose is unique in all the world… My rose perfumed all my planet…’
He point to B-612, his planet, where his rose lived.
‘But I did not know how to take pleasure in all her grace’
‘My fox once told me… One sees clearly only with the heart… Anything essential is invisible to the eyes…’
That day, we both looked upon the stars for a long time until we slept.
In the meantime: ‘his laughter fell to silence… My vanity in defeated… Without my friend beside me, these sunset felt less sweet… I wonder if he’ll find remorse someday?’ groaned the rose in B-612 planet as her petals dropped more and more and baobabs grew bigger and bigger.
Chapter five: Sunset
You become responsible forever for what you’ve tamed.
That day, I met the little prince at the peak of the mountain nearby Hermit valley.
‘I found this in the cave we visited… How does it work? Mind trying this for me?’ a request from the little prince to play a song with this ukulele.
‘I’m very fond of sunsets… Just like back home… One day, I saw the sunset forty-four times!’
‘I wonder, if my rose still watches the sunset? I wonder, if she is safe from the wind?
Both were silent for a moment…
‘Can you play another piece of music for me?’ A request to play once more. So I played to create atmosphere.
‘I should have judged her according to her actions… and not her words’ lamented he.
‘Do you think I am responsible for my rose?’ asked he. So I patted on his head slowly and gently to express a feeling instead of words.
‘Thank you… I’m glad to have you as a friend’ said he and the flock of birds carried him away to somewhere else.
In the meantime: ‘(cough) Some days. I perfumed his planet… Some nights, I wilted in pretense… But he could not see my friendship or the joy in my soul… Will he ever know..?’ weeped the rose in B-612 planet as all of her petals were almost gone, baobabs still grew bigger and bigger, and two volcanoes are active now.
Chapter six: The present
How to reach him? Where to find him? It’s so mysterious, the land of tears
I found the little prince was heading toward the Eden mountain in Starlight desert trying to find the way back home. I instantaneously chased him and catched him shivering in front of the not-yet-lit bonfire.
I offered him an ignition.
‘I am going to make you a present…’ said he amusingly.
He luaghed and said ‘That is my present. Just that’
‘I am going back home tonight… On one of the stars I shall be living... On one of them I shall be laughing… And so when you look at the sky at night, it will be as if all the stars were laughing’
‘It is very far and will be very difficult… I shall be much more afraid… It will look as if I were suffering… Do not come to see that’
‘At night you will look up at the stars… My star will just be one of the stars for you… And so you will love to watch all the star in the heavens… They will be your friends’
We both fell asleep there.
But when I woke up, the little prince has dissappeared. I searched for him everywhere.
Until I found him with the Dark dragon, it surely did something with the little prince but he said nothing and keep heading to the Eden mountain.
That time I tried my best to chased him but unfortunately I lost him…
In the meantime: ‘(cough) My time is up… I ask for dear forgiveness… Yet, he has not returned… Will he ever come back for me?’ Last word from the rose with the sorrow in herheart in the B-612 planet which was scatter into pieces. This is the end of the rose’s part T_T.
Chapter seven: The farewell
The little prince had struggled under the hail of stones in Eye of Eden. I must go there to rescue him before he was turned into stone.
Unfortunately, I came too late, he was turned into stone now. Consequently, all the things I can do was to light his soul and the others who faced the same situations.
I also tried to escape the hailstone, but at last I was unconsciously turned into stone too…
In the darkest of my mind, I was drowned into the bottom and met someone crying.
We hugged and suddenly I felt my life was brought back.
Hence, I flew up to where I fell.
Furthermore, all the kids, including the little prince, had revitalised and flew away to escape the hailstone.
We had come to the end of the orbit.
They thanked me and flew to different stars to reborn.
I met the little prince at the last door.
We said nothing and he offered his hand like he always used to do.
We held each other’s hand and went through the door to reborn where we will not meet each other again.
I woke up at the place where I first met the little prince.
I sat at the same place like we used to but this time I sat alone thinking about the words the little prince said to me.
Can you hear them? They will all be your friends… :)
For those who think ‘where is him?’ I am pleased to say that he reborns in different planet and of course, with his rose :)
